Idea

How could we leverage emerging technology to craft a brand experience that goes beyond passive observation and transforms into active engagement? The answer: a custom-designed TikTok AR filter that allows visitors to experience the entire journey of coffee beans, from their origins to the final cup, using only their mobile devices. This immersive activation, conceptualized entirely by Mind The Ad, turned Buondi Craft’s booth into a digital storytelling hub, providing a seamless and engaging experience for every visitor.

Mechanism – Implementation

As visitors navigated the vibrant exhibition space, they discovered the Buondi Craft booth—a portal into the world of coffee. By simply scanning a QR code with their smartphones, they activated the TikTok AR filter, which brought to life the intricate journey of coffee beans through an engaging, augmented reality experience. The filter dynamically visualized the transformation of coffee from its harvesting stages to the final crafted cup, making the storytelling process both interactive and memorable.

The activation not only captured attention but also fostered high levels of engagement. With over 4,000 scans per filter and an average interaction time exceeding 35 seconds, the results underscored the power of phygital experiences in crowded exhibition environments. This activation reinforced the idea that in a sea of brands, the ones that truly stand out are those that offer an experience—not just a product.
